Instructor Spotlight: Trevor Snow

Stay Curious, Keep Playing

With over 20 years of guitar experience, Trevor Snow brings a lifelong passion for music to his role as a Guitar Ninjas instructor. Teaching guitar, bass, drums, piano, ukulele, voice, and beginner clarinet, Trevor enjoys helping students discover their own musical potential.

What does he love most about teaching? Seeing the moment when something clicks. Trevor finds it rewarding to figure out how to make a concept understandable to each student and watch their passion grow. And with kids, he says, there's always something to laugh about along the way!

Trevor draws inspiration from a wide range of artists, including Eric Clapton, George Harrison, Jimi Hendrix, Eric Johnson, John Frusciante, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Billie Joe Armstrong, Rivers Cuomo, and Paramore. These musicians have influenced everything from his guitar technique to his songwriting.

His advice for students is simple: "Don't close yourself off to any form of influence. Stay curious!"

And if he could jam with any musician, past or present? That would be Jimi Hendrix, whose influence on Trevor's playing has been immeasurable.

We're excited to have Trevor sharing his knowledge, enthusiasm, and love of music with the Guitar Ninjas community!
