  • Absolutely. Here’s how to make it happen:

    1. Book an introductory call (we’ll review lesson program details, pricing, as well as scheduling options)

    2. From there, we’ll schedule your $25 introductory lesson!

  • We have 4 locations in the greater Los Angeles area (with more coming soon!):

    We also offer lessons via Zoom, in case that’s a better fit for you/your family.

  • Lessons amount to roughly $39 per lesson – these are weekly, 30-minute private lessons with your own dedicated instructor either in our studio, online, or a combo of both.

    Membership is paid out on a monthly basis, and includes:

    • Free makeup lessons (as long as you cancel before 9 am on your lesson day).

    • Full access to our complete 8-level online course that works hand-in-hand with your private sessions.

    • Award picks and chains to symbolize your advancement to the next level of becoming a Guitar Ninja.

    • Access to our members-only Practice Portal with over 300 videos of tricks, tips, exercises, and skills to super-charge your playing.

  • We’re excited you’re interested in joining us! Here’s how it works:

    1. Book an introductory call

    2. Schedule a trial lesson

    3. Get matched with an instructor

    4. Start your musical journey!

  • As with any skill, the more you practice, the faster you will learn and improve! We recommend practicing at least 3-4 times per week for 15-30 minutes each time. And of course, attend your weekly lesson!

  • Owning your own instrument is not required to begin (we have loaners at the studios), but it is highly recommended for home practice.

  • After your trial lesson, we’ll work with you to find a regular weekly lesson time that matches your schedule. You then get matched with an instructor, and your musical journey begins!

  • Navigate to portal.guitarninjas.com on your desktop, or download & open our App on your mobile device. Your Username and Password are always the student's first and last name, all one-word and lowercase. 

    For example:

    • Username: jimihendrix (firstnamelastname)

    • Password: jimihendrix (firstnamelastname)

  • How to join a Zoom Lesson:

    • Log into your portal account at portal.guitarninjas.com on your web browser

    • Click on the calendar icon in the top right side of the screen, and then click on the date of your lesson

    • The current date must be selected in order to connect with the correct instructor

    • Click “Join Zoom Lesson” and wait for your instructor to open the Zoom room!

  • We understand that life happens, and we do our best to accommodate when it does. As a courtesy, we offer makeup lessons for eligible cancellations, based on the guidelines below and when availability allows.


    Please note that makeup lessons are not guaranteed, as our schedule fills up quickly and instructor availability may be limited.

    Makeup lessons must be scheduled and completed within 3 weeks of the original missed lesson.

    To qualify for a makeup lesson:
    • Weekday lessons (Monday–Friday): Must be canceled by 9:00 AM on the day of the lesson.
    • Weekend lessons (Saturday): Must be canceled by 9:00 PM the night before.

  • Simply log into your portal account, and follow these steps:

    1. Click on “Schedule”

    2. Click on your lesson day, and then click “cancel lesson”

    Note: Lessons must be canceled by 9:00 am the day of the lesson (9:00 pm the night before for Saturday lessons) in order to receive a free makeup lesson

    • From there, follow the directions on the screen to schedule your makeup lesson

  • We offer our members the option of pivoting to an online lesson up to 1 second before their scheduled lesson time. We do this because we know life happens! Maybe traffic is bad, maybe someone isn’t feeling great at home, or maybe you’re out of town but still want to take your lesson. We’ve got you!

    Simply log into your portal account, and follow these steps:

    1. Click on “Schedule”

    2. Click on your lesson day*, and then click “Join Zoom Lesson” at the bottom of the box that pops up

    3. Your instructor will get a notification that you’re going to be joining the lesson online

    4. Zoom will automatically open up for you, and the instructor will let you into the Zoom room

    *Make sure you’re selecting the correct lesson date! Each Zoom link is specific to your lesson day & time.

  • If you do not see any makeup times available, please message us at scheduling@guitarninjas.com and we will look for alternative times for you.

  • Message us at contact@guitarninjas.com.

  • Either email us at accountservices@guitarninjas.com, or schedule a service call using this link, and someone will give you a call at the scheduled day and time!

  • While it is not required to own an instrument to begin lessons (we have plenty of loaners at our studios), we highly recommend purchasing one to ensure that the student can practice at home.

  • If you have your own instrument, bring it along. Otherwise, all we need is you, a positive attitude, and we’re good to go!

  • To pause your membership, please contact us directly at contact@guitarninnjas.com.

  • To cancel your membership, please contact us directly at contact@guitarninjas.com. Please let us know no later than 1 week before the next billing cycle (2nd of the month). Membership cancellations made after the 2nd of the month will take effect the following month.Item description

  • Guitar Ninjas does not offer refunds for unused lessons. However, if you cancel your membership with proper notice, you are welcome to attend any remaining lessons until your membership officially ends.

  • Yes! We are proud to offer several opportunities for our students to perform throughout the year, including our Jam Club (twice per year). Look for enrollment opportunities in our monthly newsletter!

  • The member portal contains a wealth of information for each student – dig into lessons, sheet music, audio files, music theory, and more.
